There were 36 certified teachers who voted no Union. Several reasons 1. As a small school we need to stay flexible 2. With the Union now admin will have to hire lawyer out of our already tight budget which will take resources from kids 3. Only the certified staff are under Union umbrella 4. It increases the tension within staff since there are many including me that do not want this I am sad that our school which has always put kids first is now moving to put teachers and teacher protection first
