Thanks for covering this Steve, and for exploring the issue of "energy privilege." It's something that we should all reflect on. When you flip the switch that electricity comes from somewhere, and for a long time low-income communities and communities of color have been bearing the burden of fossil fuel plants so that we can all have electricity. We can replace fossil fuels with clean power, but it might require rich people to (*gasp*) actually have to see their power being generated.
