RI needs to go all in on the climate justice economy. It is not an add on to the economic development planning we do, it has to be the main thing. the justice as well as the climate. We need a more equal economy for it to work and for the economy to support democracy and communities taking more charge of what gets built. Communities should always be able to say no to bad projects and make it stick. We also have to remember that growth will be limited due to resource depletion but that so much of what we own is superfluous. Get rid of the plastic junk and the war machine and we can live on a let less very comfortably. And that prosperity would be global.
