It is amazing that there is a consistent lack of reporting in the major media outlets that makes the basic factual connections made by Steve Ahlquist in this piece. As Ahlquist points out, even though the alarming level of violence and harm caused at Fulton County Jail in Georgia was considered grounds for the US Dept. of Justice to investigate, comparable levels of violence and harm exist at the ACI right here in Cranston, RI, yet so far, apparently no public officials have taken notice, let alone called for corrective action. Bravo for this much needed reporting!
