Every time McKee opens his mouth he further demonstrates his cluelessness and cruelty.

thanks for helping analyze the budget proposal. It is 270 pages and maybe deliberately opaque to most readers.

In contrast to doing nothing to reduce RIPTA's $31+ million deficit, the Governor did find $235 million in general revenue to continue to eliminate the property tax on motor vehicles, funding that disproportionately benefits affluent households with multiple expensive cars, the folks who contribute the most to pollution and congestion, and is no or little benefit to the climate champions who use transit. This is not equitable.

The Governor's proposed fees on electric cars, replacing the gas tax for them, is not based on weight, so it misses an opportunity to incentivize lighter more efficient EVs that do less road damage, have less tire pollution, make smaller demands on the stressed grid, and are less dangerous to other road users. Sad!

I'm so busy watching Washington and R.I. that I get nothing done. McKee is a horrible speaker.

My question is the problem McKee or the legislature? They did have a field day with the pandemic money. They never put any away for a rainy day. The rainy day is here and there is nothing to fall back on. Every money article on the internet tells us to put aside 5% for an emergency. The way this State is run, my 5% covers the State's emergency, not mine.

Sen. Reed on 1/16 (?) managed to finagle $17+ million to be used for homeless services. That's probably the last grant we'll get under the Trump/Musk regime. Do our state leaders watch Washington? Trump changes his mind every hour. His choices for any department have no skills for the department he's putting them in charge of. I read everything since I don't know what will impact me. What's on the line is social programs. Trump will cut or gut some yet we're over budget and can't fill the gap. I'll be waiting to see what the legislature does.

We're facing a week of snow, rain, and a polar vortex. I won't leave the house but does the State have any plans for the homeless? It's a weekend with a holiday and the State doesn't work on weekends. Has the State found any empty buildings with heat to keep these people safe and warm or will they do a last minute scramble as usual?

We could use a miracle about now.

Just when I think McKee couldn’t say or do anything more to explicitly exhibit his complete lack of intelligence, expertise, and awareness for this job, he manages to exhibit cluelessness on a whole different level. Get him outta there‼️👁️
