"I'm furious because it is not an accident that more kids die from guns in this country than anywhere else on the planet. It is not an accident that our climate is spiraling out of control..."
good interview but it should be edited a bit. almost every candidate angling for ciciline's votes will profess the same beliefs and policies. the question is, how can you drill down on the character fundamentals? for instance, you didn't ask him nor did he comment on lobbyists (the fourth branch of government). he can mouth the concept medicare-for-all but what will he say publicly about CVS who are among the chief enablers of big pharma? is he willing to take risks and state as much in a primary campaign, as opposed to hedging his positions to attract money? he mentions his grandfather's escape from the Holocaust twice, but does he support abolition of VJ Day because only RI perpetuates this racist affront to people of Japanese descent, not to mention that this holiday coincides with the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? you really have to nibble around the edges, otherwise everyone sounds pretty much the same. my two-cents. keep up the good work!
