As a former Rhode Islander who now lives in Colorado, I just wanted to say that TABOR was not partially repealed in 2005; it was "suspended" for 5 years, and resumed in 2010 just in time to prevent a robust response to the crash of 2008. Now it is forcing us to return cash to the voters of Colorado at the same time as we cut billions of dollars from out budget this year. Your overall point is correct. Colorado was the high water mark of the anti - tax movement of the 1990s, and we are paying for it now.

Rhode Island can do better than that!

Thank you Tom. We should also note that suburban sprawl is a big driver (literally) of climate changr and the attendant disasters that follow like bigger storms and raging floods, and killer heat waves.
