I appreciate the people who go onto the streets and plan and attend rallies - they succeed in helping push the elected officials to actually take steps toward rent stabilization and protection of immigrants (and others) from ICE cruelty.

I'd advise refraining from language such as "white fascist in City Hall" which is entirely counterproductive.

And I understand that people tasked with actually governing have to look past the slogans and examine consequences of policies - for example whether or not :rent control" really reduces both housing supply and building maintenance. My hunch is the "rent stabilization" bill has it about as good a balance as can be expected, but I hope there is a serious public input process about it going forward
