“I’m … doing everything we can to get not just wind and solar power, but also what we can do in terms of natural gas and nuclear power,” said Governor Lamont. Governor McKee agreed.
Glad the wind turbines are going forward, but we should not be taslking about or buildoing any new gas facilities and infrastructure unless we want to boil the planet. The governors are Fools unless they are just placating Trump today and will fight him tomorrow, but I know McKee is not capable of such nuance or courage.
This “all of the above” strategy is awful! Citing nuclear power as a viable option with its horrendous toxic waste is unconscionable!! No nuclear power!!! For the love of our children and grandchildren.. don’t put nuclear into the mix!!

I agree with Bill McGibbin.
But wait…I don’t get how the Trump administration is getting what wants here? Can you please clarify?
They may have wanted to get the two Governors to increase fossil fuel infrastructure in the state.
Do you know if they succeeded?
But did they do that in response to the project being paused? Did Trump succeed? I’m not clear on this.
These are conversations begun after the stop-work order, to my understanding, and these are the concessions the governors have agreed to.
